Instead of sending cards or giving oranges, opted for cupcakes finally ordered from Rani. Emailed about the theme, details etc and voila, cute orangey, cherry blossoms, crackers, 3-d mandarin and Tiger stripes.
I guess the traditional of giving oranges, tee-kui or even lapcheong is slowly dying as most younger generation doesn't like or at least appreciate the latter. Though it might seems, that it is all right, it's actually alarmingly dying in the culture wise. I guess one should still try to upkeep the thousand of years tradition by observing with simplicty and not exegeration.
