"Heych" or "Eytch"

When Nandey, my former classmate told me to do something about this..I told her it would be beyond my power; however what I can do is to correct my current group of students to pronounce the letter "H" correctly so that the flow will go on.
I can't blame the teachers involved in that particular school as most people that I tested on this simple pronunciation test, majority failed miserably (95%).
We were all taught to pronounce the wrong way.
What we can do is simple get yourself a pronouncing dictionary and learn the enunciation of each word we want to introduce to the students so that we don't repeat the mistakes that happened to us.
Try these few words: Wednesday, restaurant, medicine, three

Try this...

Hazizi, a village boy wants to enter the KMK Idol singing competition. The winner from this competition will be competing in the international idol which would be held in Wellington, NZ.As Faizul cannot speak English and has never been exposed to any foreign cultures and people, he asks for your advice.

Task: As his good friend, you suggest that he:
A- attends a crash course in English Language;
B- should groom himself and be confident;
C- should forget about it;
D- takes up a professional singing class fist.

You can try this task in a group of 3 or 4.

Listening and Speaking Test

Clean your eyes and clear your throat. Eventhough these aren't the real MUET yet, but marks would be taken for your PB weightage.
From the results, I make a few assumptions:
1. You need to listen to more English speaking radio programmes
2. Need to clean your ears
3. Speak more Manglish IF not English
4. Read the SPORTS section at least or TV Guide from the STAR per day...
5. Read something in English from anywhere whenever and wherever...
6. Sing some English songs that you like
7. Converse in English with your room mates at least a few sentences per day.

I can only suggest those to help you to improve your speaking and listening skills. The rest are up to your own initiative.
For God only help those who help themselves.
